Paper

$0.00

Paper is a great carbon source for your compost pile. Mix with greens (food waste, green grass clippings, coffee grounds, manure, etc.) for a balanced pile. It would be most effective if you rip the large sheets into smaller pieces by hand pr run them through a shredder.

This paper is ink and staple free, just used for temporary packing. The paper is packaged in standard black trash bags. If you need more than one, please increase the quantity in your “cart”.

C:N Ratio: The carbon to nitrogen ratio of paper can vary from 100-200:1 depending on the type of paper.

Paper is available directly from Compost FBX thanks to a donation from the Noel Wien Library. Click the “Reserve Feedstock” button to reserve some paper for your pile and you will receive an email with pick up information.
